We have thousands of books in print. Use the Catalogue Search link on the library homepage to search for books by keyword, title, author or subject.
When you find the book you want you’ll see a ‘Call number’ listed on the details for print books (an example is shown below), this will help you find the book in the library. Take a note of the call number and go where the books are located and find the book using the call number (library signage will guide you to approximate areas). Each book is assigned an alphanumeric call number based on its subject area. The call number is printed along the spine of each book.
The Library endeavours to provide access to all core and recommended reading material. If you find that we don’t hold an item that you need, you can use our Document Supply service. This service provides access to books and other library material which are held at other libraries. You should also notify the lecturer who recommended the book, so they can request copies to be purchased by the library.
