Computers & WiFi


The Library provides computers for student use for study and research purposes only. You can book a PC at the Library Information Desk by presenting your AIT ID Card.  Each PC is connected to the network printer/photocopier. You can book for a maximum of two hours per session followed by a one-hour extension if required. The remaining one-hour allocation can be booked if required following a short break period.

  • Users are required to adhere to the AIT Acceptable Usage Policy as detailed in the Student Handbook .
  • Users are not permitted to make any unauthorized adjustments to any Library IT equipment, settings or software.
  • Access to the internet is for research and educational purposes only.
  • Please ensure you click ‘End Session’ when you are finished on a PC.


All Libraries have Wi-Fi access.

Students and staff of AIT can connect to Wi-Fi using their AIT email address and password.
To use this facility you need to download/install the eduroam installer for your particular computer/mobile device. The easiest way to configure your device is to connect to this site . This will automatically detect the installer for your device. When you have installed eduroam, you must use your AIT email address (, e.g. and your password.‌ If you are experiencing any difficulties with AIT IT equipment, please log a help request

Visiting students from institutions participating in the eduroam service can use this service to obtain access to the Internet.

Wi-Fi is not available for visitors.
