ACM Digital Library (1951-2000)
ACM has opened the articles published during the first 50 years of its publishing program. These articles, published between 1951 and the end of 2000, are now open and freely available to view and download via the ACM Digital Library.
Academic Search Complete (Ebsco)
A scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 8,500 full-text periodicals, including more than 7,300 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 12,500 journals and a total of more than 13,200 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. Searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,400 journals.

Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, where you can find British and Irish case law & legislation, European Union case law, Law Commission reports, and other law-related British and Irish material.
BMJ Best Practice
BMJ Best Practice is a point of care tool that draws on the latest evidence-based research to offer step-by-step guidance on diagnosis, prognosis and treatment. BMJ is now available online freely to all in Ireland, access provided by HSE.
Business Source Complete (Ebsco)
A scholarly business database, providing the leading collection of bibliographic and full text content. As part of the comprehensive coverage offered by this database, indexing and abstracts for the most important scholarly business journals back as far as 1886 are included. In addition, searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,300 journals.
Cambridge Journals Online
Journal access only. Cambridge University Press provide access to a multidisciplinary collection of over 400 leading journals, including over 200 published on behalf of learned and professional societies.
Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations (Freely available)
Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations. This database allows you to search for the meaning of abbreviations for English language legal publications, from the British Isles, the Commonwealth and the United States, including those covering international and comparative law.

ClinicalKey Student Nursing
Ebooks, videos and images.
Click on “Log in via your Institution” on the right, then search for Midlands. Following single sign-on, ClinicalKey Student Nursing currently requires entry of name and email before access is granted to the search interface.

The Education Resources Information Center is an online digital library of education research and information, sponsored by the US Institute of Education Sciences and the US Department of Education. It provides unlimited access to more than 1.3 million bibliographic records of journal articles and other education-related materials, with hundreds of new records added twice weekly. EUR-Lex (Freely available)
EUR-Lex offers access to EU law, case-law by the Court of Justice of the European Union and other public EU documents as well as the authentic electronic Official Journal of the EU – in 24 languages.
Financial Times Online (Additional registration required)
FT.com (Financial Times Online). The Financial Times (FT.com) is the online edition of the daily newspaper with a special emphasis on business and economic news internationally. In addition to the website, the FT ePaper is also available. Licensed through the Business Faculty in TUS Midlands.

Offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. i2i NSAI and ISO Standards
The i2i platform contains NSAI standards, Eurocodes and ISO International Standards with Irish annexes.

Irish Legal Information Initiative (Freely available)
IRLII (Irish Legal Information Initiative), hosted by UCC School of Law, is the Irish hub of the global Free Access to Law Movement (FALM). Access many Irish newspapers from 1738 to current day. A national newspaper database to research Irish history both contemporary and modern with legacy newspapers presented as they were printed in black and white full page format and a current newspaper archive through our full colour PDF archive.
Irish Statute Book (eISB) (Freely available)
The electronic Irish Statute Book (eISB) includes Acts of the Oireachtas and Statutory Instruments, the official versions of which remain the printed versions published by Government Publications. You can track amendments to legislation, access the Constitution and a selection of pre-1922 legislation while links to external legislation resources are also provided.

Open Dissertations
OpenDissertations is an open-access database built to assist researchers in locating both historic and contemporary dissertations and theses. Created with the generous support of the H.W. Wilson Foundation and the Congregational Library & Archives in Boston, it incorporates EBSCO’s previously released American Doctoral Dissertations, and features additional dissertation metadata contributed by select colleges and universities from around the world. Providing researchers with citations to graduate research across a span of time, from the early 20th century to the present, this database will continue to grow through regular updates and new partnerships with graduate degree-granting institutions.
